Split Mop Bucket Injection Mold – Professional Technical Introduction & Custom Mold Solution
What Is a Split Mop Bucket Mold?
A Split Mop Bucket Mold (commonly called a rotary spin mop bucket mold, two-part or multi-cavity mop pail mold, or separated wringer & main bucket mold set) is a set of precision injection tooling engineered to mass-produce the main water bucket body and the separate centrifugal dehydrator (wringer basket) used in modern household spin mops. Unlike a simple single-piece pail, a complete split-type mop bucket system is typically manufactured using two or three independent injection molds: the main bucket mold, the dewatering spin basket mold, and optionally a handle/top-cover mold.
The main bucket is injection-molded from PP (Polypropylene) or HDPE in 8 L to 20 L capacity, featuring anti-splash rims, roller guide slots, pour spouts, and molded-in rib reinforcements. The spin wringer is a perforated, high-strength basket with bearing seat, also PP or PP+reinforcement, requiring complex side-core pulling and balanced venting. "Split" in this context refers both to the multi-mold set nature and to the mold's internal split-cavity / double-parting-surface structure that enables undercut formation such as inner card slots, recessed rollers, and stepped bottom geometry.
